Oh well, now you tell me! I gave up after the first story. Harry Bosch is my # 1 favorite, followed by Lucas Davenport, but this story was just lame. Usually when I see a favorite author's name on a book coupled with someone else as co-author, I just pass on by. The experience has almost never been good. Our species has achieved some astounding accomplishments only possible by the collaboration method, but I don't think writing a book is one of those. It's the author's voice that I want to hear. It's as unique as a fingerprint.
Based on this review however, I think I'll give it another try. Connelly and Sandford must have other things to do besides keeping all of us entertained, so I'm patiently waiting for a new book from either. Amazon has said they are going to do an original series based on Harry Bosch. I saw the pilot, but so far that's all.
