4.0 out of 5 stars Dope LP but falls a little short, June 15, 2011
This review is from: Random Axe (Audio CD)
This album is good and Black Milk does an excellent job meshing soul samples with a synth sound. Some bangers on this for sure. Yet a few of his beats tend to be a little too electro heavy and have some odd whistles/beeps etc. Like for instance "Everybody Nobody Somebody" has these annoying echoes in the background. On the whole though his production is solid and his drums are always crisp. I really like Sean P rocking over the syncopated drums at the beginning of "Understand This." Sean Price and Guilty Simpson form a dope combo. They both have original flows, similar rough voices, and entertaining lyrics. 8.4/10

I love your review but I love the that noise and echo affect on Everbody, Nobody, Somebody.

Yeah it seems that people are split on that type of sound. I know some people that love it and some that can't stand it. Typically if the sound is too high or sharp then I won't like it. Thanks for reading :)
