The best I've found so far,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Brooks Men's Addiction Walker Walking Shoes (Apparel)
I work 8 to 12 hour shifts constantly walking and standing on concrete and brick. I developed plantar fasciitis, a condition which causes acute heel pain, as well as pain in my knees, hips and lower back. I first tried the Spira Wavewalker DX3 walking shoe with the patented Wavespring technology, but these shoes did not alleviate the problem. Based on the reviews of customers, I purchased the Brooks Addictions, and these have been a godsend. When worn in conjunction with custom orthotics prescribed by my physician, all of the painful conditions I experienced previously have been eliminated. If you decide to purchase these shoes, I strongly recommend that you purchase 1/2 size larger, and one size larger in width.

I have been reading many reviews this week and wanted to comment on, and thank you for yours. I too have plantar fasciitis. I have been wearing New Balance MW927 and 928 for years, but have become discouraged with their durability and am looking for something new. I am about to order these Brooks to see how they work out for me. As for insoles, I tried custom ones from my podiatrist but was disappointed. I have since moved to the Power Step Pinnacle, available from Amazon, and have been very pleased. Even though my toes seem to wear through the padding, I still only go through two pairs a year.
