The Tricam step ladder does an adequate job for an occasional light use - i.e. using it to help you reach a bottle of olive oil that is on the top-shelf of your cabinet. However, if you need it for "project" type work - painting, changing light bulbs or anything that is going to require more than 30 seconds of use you may want to keep on shopping.
Things we like-
+ When stored the Tricam step-ladder has a very small foot print. In fact the folded width is probably about 3", so it can fit in the narrowest spaces.
Areas for improvement
- When unfolding it is very easy to pinch your fingers. You have been warned!
- The second step is uncomfortable for extended use, and the third step is on the dangerous side.
- Kinda heavy if you have to lug it around your house.
- Really it isn't that much better than a steel folding chair
- The steps are narrow and steep. Children could easily fall if the were using the ladder
Final Verdict-
Not impressed - there has to be better products out there
