One star= I hate it.
NOT WORTH $12, NOT WORTH LISTENING TO.
Titling a cd "Viva Duets" and marketing it as "having some of the greatest latin artists" singing along with Tony Bennett sounds great. What you get here is a really boring cd. You hear "Viva Duets," you think, "ohhh, this ought to be good! A Latin flair added to these all time great songs! NICE!!" Well, thats what I thought of. And a great selection of popular, distiguished Latin artists. Can't go wrong, right? WRONG! This cd basically SUCKS. There is ABSOLUTELY NO latin flair added to ANY SONG, other than a latin artist chipping in every other verse. The instrumentals are even more low key and stripped back then the originals, and not in a good way.
This cd is the perfect storm of everyone mailing it in. The band, playing with about as much enthusiam as a coroner, Tony singing as if he's being interrupted or inconvienced at dinner, and many of the Latin artists singing as if they're doing Tony a favor for free. This cd really irritated me. I'm irritated that it exists and that I wasted twelve bucks on it.
I reccommend passing on this heap. NOT GOOD.

This is a CD, right?
But if you wait a little, ALSO the DVD will come out...It happens always like that with Tony..
CD and DVD: never together.
Tony is a smart guy...His sons are even smarter:-)
First the CD, and after a while, there you are: the DVD is there for you!
"Making the CD Viva Duets". You can't really complain !
