4.0 out of 5 stars I Love My Case, December 8, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: MegaGear "Ever Ready" Protective Leather Camera Case, Bag for Canon PowerShot G15 (Dark Brown) (Electronics)
This review doesn't have to be long. I love this case. The exterior is rugged and attractive and the interior is soft and protective. It has a little padding for the screen and comes with a matching strap that replaces the Canon one that came with your camera. The only downside is that its not very convenient. Removing the top takes a beat longer than pulling your camera out of a zipper case, and you have to remove the bottom to access the battery and SD card. It's a fair trade-off for a stylish and very well made case.

I agree this is an excellent quality case but as you point out it has one design flaw. The top must be removed completely before using the camera, like camera cases of 40 years ago. I have a similar case for my S95 with but it has three fasteners on the bottom instead of one on the bottom and one on each side as this case has. The S95 design allows one fastener to be unsnapped allowing the cover to quickly drop down out of the way still held by the other fasteners. I too was amazed by the excellent quality of this G15 case and will enjoy using it but will still be looking for the "new improved" version.
