3.0 out of 5 stars If only it wasn't edited/censored., December 7, 2011

This review is from: Mardock Scramble: The First Compression (DVD)
The overall movie was very good. The artwork was stunning and I do enjoy how they have both Japanese and English Audio-even though I prefer Japanese audio with English Subtitles.

The only downside to this is that it's hash edited/censored. The original scenes that were more graphic(having nudity, etc.) were taken out, blurred, or they shoved clothes on them. This is a major annoyance of mine. I hate when good anime gets the censor-hammer on them.

Cody Shay says:
As others have pointed out, this is an edited release. There were two cuts to the movie, the theatrical release which this DVD contains, and the home video cut which includes the extra scenes you are referring to. Those were made specifically for the home video release and were not cut from this release. They were originally not part of it.

The home video version is releasing in early March with all the bonus scenes, on both DVD and Bluray.
