Competent but Unfocused,
This review is from: Fifty Cars That Changed the World (Fifty (Conran Octopus)) (Hardcover)
This is an enjoyable collection of commentaries on interesting cars from the Ford Model T to the Smart car. It is not clear how these 50 cars were chosen. Some are obvious, like the Model T, Volkswagen bug, and Jaguar E-Type. Many are less obvious, like the Dynamaxion, Fiat Turbina, and Trabant.
The commentaries are well written and there is a nice balance of asian, european and American cars but the book lack a purpose. Why were these 50 cars chosen?
