A Bit Disappointed,
This review is from: The Patriarch: The Remarkable Life and Turbulent Times of Joseph P. Kennedy (Hardcover)
Love reading about the Kennedys and this does not disappoint. It is well organized and a great read, yet surprised that well known details of the Kennedys were overlooked by a cadre of editors and assistants. There is a picture titled, "Christmas 1947" that clearly shows Jean Kennedy, but refers to her as Kathleen Kennedy, sadly at her last Christmas. Also, much has been written about the problems and sadness surrounding Rosemary in London, yet this book relies only on Mary Moore's account of how beneficial wartime London was for Rosemary, separated from most of her family.
