Great box for the money,
This review is from: G-Box Midnight Android 4 / Linux XBMC Streaming Mini HTPC TV Box Player (Personal Computers)
I have it connected to my 60" running 1080i videos from my thumb drive. The video is smooth and no freezes. The response time is pretty quick, and all the apps I have installed so far work great. Had some issues with the latest versions of Netflix and Hulu+, but I thinks the apps have not been updated for the latest version of Android. I installed the older versions and they work fine. This will be resolved soon. Had the same issue when I bought my phone which had the latest Android, and the apps caught up within a month.
This is one of the better boxes out there in this price range. Stay away from those no-brand direct-from-china boxes.

Can you play any android games on this? If so which ones? How does xbmc work?

There's a lot of games that work on it, but a lot of them aren't easy to play because it's not touchscreen. XBMC works very good and is under a lot of development. This box is great for videos and web browsing and especially for tinkering. visit their website and you can see it has a massive community following.

I assume it plays media on local usb drive. But does it play media on network storage device? What types of media (video/audio/picture formats) does it support? I have been searching for a media player that can play my media on my NAS. I've found some well-reviewed media players on the market, but most of them doesn't come with android which I would like to have. How good is this as opposed to the other dedicated media players such as Klink, in terms of playing media? Thanks.
