This review is from: 2.5-inch HD Car LED IR Vehicle DVR Road Dash Video Camera Recorder Traffic Dashboard Camcorder - LCD 270 degrees whirl (Electronics)
I am a truck driver and recently a man accused me of running over his dog,I did not however it did convince me of trying a dash cam.I bought this one because of price to try as a trial. To my surprise it does a lot more than I imagined.I stuck it on my windshield up in the high middle and plugged it in to the cig lighter.2 weeks went by and a window tinting car cut me off in traffic. If you go to my youtube you can see how awesome this cam is....PLUS the vid on youtube is my phone recording off my laptop...I'm not smart enough and have not the software to edit videos. The programming is a little funky on the cam, like setting the time and date, but if you play with it for awhile you will figure it out.The micro speaker play back is scratchy until you play back on your computer and as you can hear it is very adequate.I put a 2 g mem. card in and carry a spare now in case I need to save something...it's worth it! This cam far and above does what I need.I already have saved vids of 2 more close calls, just in case.Go to youtube and look me up unitruth ,the vid is "cut off by window tinting car 40 mph evansville IN." [...] see for yourself. The audio is crappy on the cam but once plugged in or memory card inserted in laptop you can hear the audio great!

Watched your youtube video, the camera does do an adequate job although it could be clearer. I really liked the way you handled the situation with that guy that cut you off, you didn't cuss but you made your point in a professional manner. Good job! While the FMCSA keeps tightening rules and H.O.S. to eliminate fatal accidents involving trucks, we really need to fight back with videos such as yours to enlighten them and the public to the true cause of senseless accidents.

Thank you for your comment!!!I agree with you and this is why I posted this vid for educational purposes. This cam playback on its own is sub par however once transferred to a computer and viewed the sound and video is great for the price.Since I am not savvy on computer editing I took a vid off my droid to viewing my laptop .LOL

wow. you recorded off a phone, that took away some quality. you uploaded to youtube, that took away some quality, and it's STILL pretty clear. Thank you for posting a video to give an idea of what it looks like. I'm a student that will be traveling a good bit and i dont want something bad to happen and there be no evidence. hopefully nothing will happen but it's still better to be on the safe side.

Thank You for posting the videos taken from this camera. I live in Myrtle Beach SC and the drivers are horrible here. I have been looking into cameras and your videos have helped me with my decision making process. If you have any more of the different quality of night driving, it would be appreciated. Every review says the night view is bad, so it is very helpful to acctually see it first hand. Thank You Very Much for posting the videos!!! Keep up the safe driving!

As stated in the vid traffic was lite therefore his behavior was deemed by me even more bizarre and I did look in my mirrors to see if anyone was behind me.I log 1000 of hours behind the wheel per year without any tickets or accidents in the last 20 years.YOU can let them go if your afraid of personal confrontation but I am not,if conditions allow it....some folks need to be confronted for their behavior.

Getting out and shaking his hand would have taken too long.
