5.0 out of 5 stars Finally!! Something scary!!, July 5, 2011
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Seed (Kindle Edition)
Finally, this is what I've been looking for! I read so many books, most of them just seem to blend together anymore. Not this one, it really stood out. It's not all gore and guts (there is some), but it's the subtle creepiness that makes it so scary. This is the kind of book I'm always sifting through the trash to find. Blood and guts dont scare me, though they have their place in horror; but this is what a scary book should be. Can't wait for more from this author! Love, love, love it!!!

Look at Squism Chaser's profile. I think anything this person says can be safely disregarded.

Squism Chaser (Do you chase squism? Or are you squism in a shot glass?), 28% of the people who read your reviews and comments find them helpful. Or to put it this way, 72% of people actively disagree with you. And I'd wager that a large part of that 28% don't find you helpful, simply entertaining. Your opinions are so far outside the norm that you likely suffer from some form of mental disorder. Or you're a troll. Take your pick.

I posted my opinion of this book. If you want to go spreading about your negativity, that's your right. I really couldn't care less about you or your opinion.

Hi Krista - good review. I'm constantly on the lookout for something genuinely scary, so will definitely try this. I'd be interested to know what other books you give the thumbs up for a genuine good scare. I really liked The Tooth Fairy by Graham Joyce - it's stuck in my mind as being very creepy (and Seed sounds like it might be similar).
