Does NOT include "Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats.",
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: T. S. Eliot: Collected Poems, 1909-1962 (The Centenary Edition) (Hardcover)
The Amazon book description is inaccurate. Otherwise it's a fine collection from a great poet.
"There is no more authoritative collection of the poetry that Eliot himself wished to preserve than this volume" ... I don't think Eliot would make such an omission.

You're looking for *Complete Poems and Plays, 1909-1950* (which is only complete up to 1950, and so does not include "The Cultivation of Christmas Trees* or his late occasional verse, or the plays "The Confidential Clerk" or "The Elder Statesmen", but does include *Old Possum*).

I agree with you, Eliot would not have omitted "Old Possum's". However, that collection is also a Harcourt publication - I'm guessing their thinking was "Why sell just one book when we can sell two". Irritating...
