V Is for Very Predicable,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: V is for Vengeance (Kinsey Millhone Mystery Book 22) (Kindle Edition)
This is the first book that I have read by this author and it will be my last.
It was not suspenseful at all and the writing lent itself to elaborate descriptions of mundane information irrelevant to the storyline. Not a fan.

Why don't you try reading one of the earlier ones? I discovered Sue in 1995 while reading about her in a magazine. I started reading with "A", but didn't really begin to like her until around "F" or "G". Why don't you read the series from the beginning? I think you might be surprised.

Don't give up, yet!
I started with "G" and "L" and liked them so much I went back to "A" to read them in order.

Please, please, give her another try. I started with C and loved it, then went to B. A, I didn't like as much, but D through Q are great. I was a tad bored by R and S started a sort of new style by Grafton which I haven't liked as much. But there is SO much to like in her earlier books, really!!!! V is not a good example of how talented Grafton is and what a great character Kinsey is.
