I absolutely love my Ray-Ban 3016 Clubmaster sunglasses!. Designed in the 30's and reintroduced in the 80's, the frames are a very sturdy nylon and the glass lenses are the classic G-15 grey-green tint used for years by the Air Force. I had mine converted into prescription glasses. The lenses are easily taken out with just a few screws and they are flat, which is perfect for those of us with astigmatism.

Were you able to just add your prescription to the lenses in the glasses already or did you have to replace them? What does the "prescription ready" in the product description mean?

I just took them to Lens Crafters and had them match the tint. It was really easy. I don't recommend getting the transition lenses, where the tint gets dark outside and lightens up inside. I have had two sets of glasses made with the transition lenses and both of them began to wear off after about 2 years.
