Beware - width does not run true to size,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Rockport Men's Dressport Moccasin Front Oxford (Shoes)
I ordered these for my husband. They arrived quickly and were packaged securely. Unfortunately they don't fit. We have been married for 39 years. I have always bought his shoes. He has always worn a 12D in whatever brand I bought. I had no reason to believe this shoe would be any different. I have bought the Rockport brand for him before. The D width could hardly fit on his foot. Beware that the sizing is way off on these shoes - not the length, but the width.
I am disappointed that not only do these not fit, but I cannot exchange these for the next wider width. I can only return them for a refund.

I have the same situation, only I ordered a 12 2E - also disapointed with the width (it's labeled as a 12 W for what it's worth). I'm going Zappos from here on out - Amazon is too much of a hassle with their returns / exchanges on their lightning deals for shoes. (Third lightning shoe purchase on Rockports, and second return - I am an UNHAPPY customer as I cannot take advantage of the deal due to size variations.)

Love my Cats! says:
I have not tried Zappos, but have heard great things - especially about their easy returns. I will have to give them a try.

you do know that Amazon owns Zappos?

I am aware of that. Lots of retail companies own other businesses/brands - but Amazon's process / customer experience for buying shoes just cannot compare to going through Zappos. A good read to understand Zappos (and maybe why Amazon bought them) would be "Delivering Happiness." Have fun!
