This review is from: Break You (Andrew Z. Thomas/Luther Kite Series Book 3) (Kindle Edition)
This is a novella. You can read it in less than an hour. But the author fits a lot into a short amount of space.
Do you remember where Andrew Thomas was at the end of "Locked Doors"? This completely changes it - unless the author plans on including this novella in entirety in "Stirred" you better read this or you'll think "Huh? How did he get from there to there?"
I enjoyed the Detroit setting, and I feel that modern-day Detroit is a wonderful place to set a scary book, the author calls it the "Concrete Barrens" which is quite a perfect description.
My only complaint is not one about the story itself, but rather that this novella is the exact same price as "Desert Places" & "Locked Doors", which are 3 times as long. Is it petty to complain about something that only costs $3? Probably.
Whatever - I enjoyed it and can't wait for more from this author!
