However this is just a vegetable oil based soap, not some kind of magic potion, so don't expect miracles.
recipe: 1 part castile soap, 1 part water, 1 teaspoon oil. ( I used olive oil, but you can use grapeseed, coconut, jojoba etc.) add essential oils to make it smell good.
be sure to use an apple cider vinegar rinse afterwards.

In your recipe, what size are your "parts" when you add 1 tsp of oil? The ratio shouldn't be the same for a 1/2-cup-to-1/2-cup solution as a 1-cup-to-1-cup solution. I very much would like to try your recipe, it seems so much more straightforward than many of the others I've seen!

Hello there... would you have a recipe for your vinegar rinse or do you just use the apple cinder vinegar straight from the bottle? And do you use conditioner as well or just the vinegar? Thank you! =)

I'm not sure what the measurements are for the original poster, Marissa, but I found this recipe in my search: Mix ¼ cup of castile soap with ¾ cup of water. Mix in 8-10 drops essential oils. Pour everything in a foaming soap dispenser. It is a recipe for baby body wash, but it is the same ingredients listed in this post. I haven't tried it, so I don't know how well it works, but thought I'd pass is along to you anyway. I got it from a blog: http://www.kitchenstewardship.com/2011/10
