I loved that feature, last night I installed Tversity on my PC and now I can stream video files that you normally cant watch on the player. that programs transcode videos on the fly. you just set the stream resolution to 320x240 and use the WMV codec and bam now you can stream most of your video files to the Zen X-Fi.
Only problem is though that when you choose a video to stream on the X-Fi it takes a bit for it to start so the player gives you an error message, but if you try it again it does start streaming it.

You cant put your own lyrics (at least I haven't found and official way of how to do it). but I guess what you could do is create jpeg images with the lyrics of the song, make a slideshow and put that song as the background music for the slideshow, hehehe I remember doing that once with the Karaoke game for the original Xbox.
and sorry but I dont know who the artist for the song is.

Great post and video Jesus, thanks for taking the time to share.
I've got the Vision M 30 gig and I'm tempted to make the change but maybe I'll wait for a higher capacity x-fi.

Thanks for the comment, so how's the Vision M?, I dont have that much experience with MP3 players since I just started out a few months ago.
one thing I didn't really like about the Creative Zen and Zen X-Fi is that you have to convert most videos in order to play be able to play them, I heard that with the Vision M (I think) you didnt need to convert most of the videos since it accepted most video formats.

Great demo Jesus! I'm trying to decide between the Zen 8gb or the 8gb (X-Fi).. I'm even thinking of going up to 16gb.. The only thing is that they only come with the WiFi which I don't really need... What do you think??? Since you've owned both types, I imagine you would have your comparisons..
Appreciate your input!

Well both are great and very similar products, I would say to go for the X-Fi since you get a built in speaker, better headphones and the X-FI has that boost in the sound with the Crystalizer option i'm no audiophile but you can hear a difference (for good or not) all that for a small increase in price.
only real drawback I have seen between the 2 is that it seems that my videos which I had already converted to my normal Zen most have small playback problems on the X-Fi, I dont know if its the enconding or not but at first glance it would seem to me that the normal Zen is a bit better at video playback. Hope that helps if not tell me what would you like to know more specifically. I'll try to answer as best as I can and sorry for my bad english, english is my second language.
