This Will NOT Help You Understand Android Device Permissions!,
This review is from: June 2012 Understanding Access Controls, File Permissions (Information Security in Brief) (Kindle Edition)
I was looking for a book that would help me understand Permissions as they relate to Android devices. THIS ISN'T IT.
This is a very short 10 minute read of what felt to me like an outline for a future publication or footnotes from some related book. It is not written for the average person. While the layout is progressive it is not an easy read and provides no useful information even for it's target audience and I am unclear exactly who that might be. It touches on permissions in operating and database management systems and applications which would appear to be issues in corporate Systems Security designs. It purports to introduce file permissions, concepts of least privilege, prior granted access, the concepts of named user, asset ownership and custodianship although there is not actual practical information or viewpoints provided in this "brief".
