Remember when your mom saved everything in a rag bag? The nylons got used to go on the end of the washing machine hose to catch debris so it wouldn't plug up the wash tub. I use these to go on the end of the dryer outlet to catch the fuzz the that isn't caught in the lint thingy. That way it isn't throwing dust all over my back porch & it is inexpensive. The knee High's already have the heavy built in elastic to keep it attached to the outlet so it doesn't go flying off the end.

Exactly what I am looking at these for. I have a septic system and it is getting clogged up because of lint and material from washing machine discharge. I am hoping these will catch all the nasty stuff that ends up choking off my plumbing. Not so concerned about the dryer lint flying around the backyard but, plumbing bills and septic repair can get costly if it gets clogged up. Thanks for the comment and anything else you may wish to add.
