This review is from: Poetic PU Leather Folio Case for Amazon Kindle Fire (Black) (Electronics)
I got this case from Poetic to use with my Kindle Fire, and I found it kind of disappointing. While it does the job at a bargain price, there were some things that made me switch to the Targus Truss Case/Stand for BlackBerry PlayBook (see my review). First, the fit is very tight. I had to really work my Kindle Fire to get it in and centered. If I had not done this, the housing would have been flush with the left edge of the screen in portrait mode. Second, the notch for the stand is lopsided. While this did not interfere with the function, it makes the case seem cheaply made due to inattention to detail. Finally (and the deal breaker), I don't like the way that it folds over. The case is thin and stiff, and it does not fold around flat. This causes a bulge on the left side when reading in portrait mode on the Kindle Fire. This caused me to shift around how I held it in order to try to make it more comfortable. I would consider other options. You will probably find the additional cost to be worth it.
