New and Improved,
This review is from: Raw Power! The Power of Raw Foods, Superfoods, and Building Strength and Muscle Naturally (4th Edition, 2011) (Perfect Paperback)
I think I have had two or three copies of Thor Bazler's Raw Power! since the original edition came out in 1998. I am not a full-fledged raw foodist, but Thor makes a good argument for a person to become one. Take raw foodism, combine it with Thor's unique approach to bodybuilding, and you have what he calls real "natural bodybuilding". I have been tentatively beginning the workouts he suggests, and enjoy the dumbell curl-to-dumbell military press. I have known of this exercise for years and have never really thought twice about doing it, but I am now.
Also, the recipes in the book, many I believe are developed by his wife Jolie, are great. I like the avacado, mashed with jalepeno, wrapped in cabbage most particularly.
You do not have to be a raw foodist to read and get good advice from Raw Power!, but I think it would help, and I am working on it.
