Nice but not perfect,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Viewsonic VX2453MH-LED 24-Inch Ultra-thin Widescreen LED Monitor - Black (Personal Computers)
Nice, large screen. Reason for 3/5 stars is the lack of VESA mount. I didnt notice the lack of VESA mounting provisions till I had already unboxed the monitor and started getting it setup. Dont really want to go through the hassle of reboxing and returning the monitor to Amazon. But I should have bought the ASUS VE248HASUS VE248H 24-Inch LED Monitor model instead. Just be aware that you are locked into using Viewsonic's stand with this screen.

I appreciate you mentioning that there is no VESA mounts on this monitor. For me, this is also a deal-breaker. I was looking all over the page for an answer and guessed that it didn't have the mount holes, so I appreciate your review in confirming my guess.

Wish I had read this before I got two of them!! lol I just bought the XFX triple monitor stand and noticed I didn't have the mounts on the back of these. I want to cry.

I have noticed Vesa mounts on the base of other monitor stand.
For those who own this monitor, can you confirm if the Vesa Mounts are at the base of the stand?

I just looked and NO they aren't there. This is disappointing as I wanted to buy another and mount them on a dual stand. Sad.

We bought several of these monitors also. They are otherwise great but we need the VESA mountpoints for stands than raise the monitors to reasonable levels. Unfortunately we will have to return them.
