very versatile watch,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Casio Men's WS300-7BV Ana-Digi Illuminator Sport Watch (Watch)
This watch is great for using in the healthcare field. Its water proof, and it has both a digital and analog display WITH second hand. A second hand is a must for counting pulse and respirations. I always have the digital time set to 24 hour time, and I use the analog for everyday 12 hour. It also has a separate display that shows the current day and date. Having all of these features displayed at once (24 hour, 12 hour, day, date and second hand) is just very convenient. I liked it so much that I bought another in case something happens to my first. Good job Casio! Nice practical design. Thanks for having a second hand on this watch.

Recently ordered Casio WS300 and upon arrival it was already "going"....previous order of watches had insert by stem to be removed to activate battery.......not impressed. wanted both times mil/reg
w/ second hand......fine.......but over all apperance of watch looks cheap.
Have loved Casio for durability and fact of being to withstand a lot of water.
Will keep this one but not impressed with how it looks!

Can you suggest any alternatives?

I'm not sure what you mean! Watches never have inserts to block battery contact. How can that be when such a watch is sealed against water?! Where would that insert go? I have lots of Casio watches and I've never heard of such a thing.
