NOT the Walkie Talkies I grew up with!,
= Durability: = Fun: = Educational:
This review is from: LEGO Walkie Talkies (Toy)
My 5 year old really wanted a set of Walkie Talkies, a friend of ours researched and bought these for there son and raved about them when I asked. My son has had them for 3 months now and loves playing with them. They have very good reception and sounds quality. We live on 3/4 of an acre and he can be inside while dad is outside being 'spied' on. These are SO much better than what I remember walkie talkies being just 20 years ago. (Man I sound old!)

I saw basically this same review for the nerf walkie talkies. The reviewer was "Corvette "Terry"". Beware these fake reviews!

Have you reported abuse? It will be good to weed out fake reviews...

Carla Ackley says:
The walkie-talkies of the 70's & 80's were AM (CB Channel 14). New ones are FM (FRS). That's why they sound better.
I have no idea how these Lego ones are though. Probably same as most FRS radios. At least they didn't claim 25 mile reception (that's BS when you see that). That would be from mountain top to mountain top in perfect conditions with great propagation (line of sight).
