I personally don't like purchasing huge houses for my daugther's toys. Because, if I did, her entire room would just be a neighborhood of everyone's residence. We have one decent-sized doll house that she uses for every brand of toys that she has. Lately, she's been getting into the Little Pet Shop toys. She wanted the huge care center, which rang up to about $40-$50. Plus, the number of items in that package weren't really playable. The care center just seemed...small and unorganized.
Well, I saw this package and was glad that I could find it. It came with three pets, a bed, and every accessory you could find in a vet's office, aside from a clipboard. We actually made our own little clipboard out of blue cardboard and cut down paper. It's fun watching her act out being a vet, and this smaller package includes just what she'll need. She even made herself a little popsicle-stick care center that IMO is more customized than the plastic walls could be. All supplies were under $10, and it looks like an actual pet office! Carpet, tile, and wallpaper, full desk, medical table, and filing cabinets.
Each piece of this set is pretty large, compaired to a barbie-sized accessory, and they're easy to handle. We keep them in a small button box and she calls it her "brief case". So it works.
The band aid stickers are great for play value, and we're ordering more too. (she uses them for other animals, as well)
Overall, just a great, great product. She asks me what certain tools (that are included) to and asks what they do and why they have that... which adds a huge educational feature to this toy.
