This review is from: We Were Not Alone: How an LDS Family Survived World War II Berlin (Paperback)
As a history lover, I really enjoyed this book. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints, I was personally touched by the story. But I do believe any Christian, or anyone interested in German citizens during WWII, would find this an uplifting read.
The true events of this story show human courage. They also show how far acts of kindness can reach.
I'm usually not into Mormon literature, but this is one I'd stand by. It really is a fabulous read.
