This review is from: The United Nations Exposed (Paperback)
Ok, first off this book is written and promoted by The John Birch Society. Now that should be known so any future readers who don't want to support this kind of propaganda or ultraconservative organization. It also lets you know what you are getting yourself into before you buy it.
That being said Jasper makes some interesting and provocative points, but they are lost in paranoid ramblings. In my opinion the direct quotes he uses are chilling and deserve consideration for anyone who opposes the UN becoming THE global superpower. Anyone who opposes a one world government can find some nuggets of useful information, but will be irritated by the writing.
Jasper is a terrible writer and repeats himself constantly. He also makes the cardinal mistake when it comes to propaganda, make it palatable for the middle of the road readers. You have to be REALLY far gone to enjoy this book.
There HAS to be a better book about the UN than this one. All this is a bunch of paranoid ramblings about a one world government. There is VERY little actual "exposing" of the UN. Avoid at all costs, unless you need to find very few nuggets of information for an academic paper.

Emily Greene says:
I wonder if you personally have checked his points and reports to make sure they are corraborated by not just "conservatives" or "right-wing nutjobs". William Jasper has provided a reasonable critique and counter-arguement to the policies of the United Nations. You have to look at everything that is listed and then compare that to the opposing view (which is in favour of the United Nations and its supporter) and then ultimately, you need to then look at reports from a non-biased standing and then review. Because ultimately, if it does prove the United Nations is guilty of anything - you have to report it, regardless if you hate it. Its like the old saying, "If the truth hurts, you can either take it or walk away from it". Until a more concise report can come along, and despite the fact that it is promoted by the John Birch Society - you can't immediately discredit it.
