Minion Tim is the perfect gift for fans of Despicable Me,
This review is from: Despicable Me 2 Minion Tim The Singing Action Figure (Frustration Free Packaging) (Toy)
Minion Tim is one of three talking minions available from the Despicable Me 2 toy line-up. He is the tallest of the three minions at 10" high (plus hair). All three minions (Tim, Dave, and Stuart) have a special mode unique to each figure. Tim's special mode is "singing," where he sings one of three different songs. Hilariously. He also has 25 different sayings and noises that have been faithfully reproduced from the actual Tim character in the movies. All of the minions' voices and sayings are unique, as well, so you won't be getting any recycled sound bites if you own all three. Which, of course, makes owning all three that much harder to resist. The facial expressions that are possible with this model, the high-quality audio recordings, and the soft-touch skin that so faithfully reproduces the look of the character in the movies all come together to make this figure a must-have for any fan of Despicable Me and its minions.

Is that the extent of his singing or does he actually go through the whole song?

That's all there is to that song, but there are two other songs. Pushing his head to the side six times will play the first line of the song, and then pushing his button or pushing his head once more will play the second line. For the song that came up in the video, it just happened to be the one song where both the first and second lines are the same thing. His other two songs are a little longer. The "Ba-ba-ba, ba-ba ba-na" song is about 5-6 seconds for both lines together. The second song sounds a little more like an Irish drinking-style song (think it was from when they were eating ice cream in the movie), and it's about 7-8 seconds long. The third song is right about 8 seconds long, and it's the Carmen Miranda style song where he has the large fruit-laden hat on his head and is dancing around.
I say "first, second, and third" song, but their order seems to be random. Looking back, I wish I had tried cycling through all of them in the video, because the "Barbara Ann" banana song really is the least funny of the three. Hope that helps! I may see about appending my video with all of the songs and re-uploading it, too, since I think just hearing all the sound bites would be helpful.
