What A Tragic Story,

This review is from: Midnight in Mexico: A Reporterís Journey Through a Countryís Descent into Darkness (Hardcover)
Mr. Corchado has written a detail-packed and a fascinating story of the plague that invades Mexico. It is depressing to read because one realizes that there is likely no way out for the country, where I once enjoyed traveling at least once a year. The danger for Mexico's citizens and anyone even remotely connected to Mexico grows more violent every day. His personal story describes the tragedy in painful detail. From that standpoint it's not easy to read because it's not easy to accept. As a Texan, I am too familiar with the news of the daily tragedies there and the horror that exists every day. It's jam packed with details and history of how this has played out.
