This review is from: The Greatest Hoax on Earth? Refuting Dawkins on Evolution (Paperback)
As usual on any of these types of books. All the people who will believe in evolution at any cost, give this book 1 star. Sorry folks, as much as you hope evolution is true and their is no creator God, you are wrong. Evolution is truly the greatest hoax, and this wonderful book exposes that.

David E. Levin says:
Peter Beckman's astoundingly poor use of language makes it abundantly clear that he is a member of the "I am ignorant" club. Keep those inarticulate, three-line, 5-star tributes coming folks. Each one is another nail in Sarfati's coffin.

Please show us some evidence that you have actually read this book Peter.
And please justify your gushing, sycophantic comments. And your awarding of FIVE stars whilst criticising other people (who HAVE read the book) and who awarded the book one star.
This website is for reviewing books - not for preaching anti-evolutionary sermons.
Dr Sarfati - are you proud to receive favourable 'reviews' like this one? Seriously - ARE you?

Wow, a 56-word, 4-line "review". How informative! - or it could have been if there were some indication that you had actually read Sarfati's book and the one that he claims to refute. It is not a question of hoping evolution is true but of scientific evidence, which is where the YEC position comes up woefully short. Sarfati has only told you the stuff that he wants you to hear - he is great at misrepresentation and lying by omission. If you read the comments associated with the 1- and 2-star reviews, you will find that many serious questions have been raised about the veracity of the book - and have gone unanswered by Sarfati when he inserted himself into the discussions. Do scientists have all the answers? Not yet, of course, but theopaths like you and Sarfati certainly don't have them either.

Somebody has decided that they found this 'book review' HELPFUL.
Please will they tell us HOW.
If they do NOT, I will conclude that they are being very biased - and silly - in their behaviour. I'm assuming the person in question is not Jonathan Sarfati.

Whereas the second person who absurdly finds this a 'helpful book review' MIGHT perhaps be Sarfati if he is still visiting this website.

Many people believe in BOTH evolution AND a creator God, or at least see no necessary conflict. It is, in fact, the mainstream Christian position: http://www.religioustolerance.org/ev_deno

That's right. But I doubt you'll get a response from the fawning 'reviewer' named Peter - he seems to have gone AWOL since posting his 'review'.

J D Hughes
Speaking for myself I did NOT state that "he didn't read the book". However there is NO evidence here at all that he read it or - if he did - that he understood what it was trying to say. Yet he gave it five stars.
If he is 'turning the other cheek' that is NOT obvious so what really would be the point of that? I am not a mindreader and cannot infallibly interpret sudden silence on a public discussion site.

J.D.Hughes: Perhaps you didn't notice that Mr. Beckman's first sentence in his review of Philip Johnson's "Darwin on Trial" reads -- "It is obvious by reading many of the negative reviews on this book, those people have not actually read this book". You will probably chide him for his shocking arrogance.
I stand by my own comments because it is not obvious that Mr. Beckman has actually read Sarfati's book, and in this case the detailed comments from people on this thread who gave the book 1-star reveal that they did read it -- and comment in extraordinary detail in their reviews.
