This review is from: LEGO Friends Olivia's House 3315 (Toy)
My 6 year old daughter never had any interest in legos because the finished products were never things that she would want to play with. These girly lego sets are perfect. She loved putting together this house. She started at 8 in the morning and did not stop (except for lunch which she did grudgingly) until 2 pm at which point she spent another hour playing with it. I am so glad that Lego has come up with this line for girls. That said, the sets are MUCH easier than the sets made for the same age group for boys. I got my daughter a Lego City car and camper set so that her lego friend girls could take a road trip and it was much more of a challenge for her to put together which I felt was a good thing. The Lego City set was actually rated 5-12 and was much harder than the Lego Friends sets rated 6-12. This is disappointing since I feel that my daughter would enjoy the challenge. I feel that the 6-12 sets for girls are really more like 4-12 and I wish that they would rate them as such and that they would create some harder sets for girls to grow into like they do for boys. The house itself is great with wonderful details and lots of possiblities for play. It also comes with 3 figures including a mom and dad which no other Friends set comes with. Also, I got the set for 69.99. The price here at Amazon is outrageous so shop around!
