This review is from: CitiKitty Cat Toilet Training Kit (Misc.)
We have two cats and they both refuse to use this product for going #2. Instead, they have taken to doing their business on the new carpet and new couch. While other reviewers have been patient enough to wait it out past 2 months, we're not willing to deal with anymore of these accidents. It's really not designed for two cats since once one cat does their business, you have to be vigilant about cleaning it or the other cat won't use it. Additionally, the little pamphlet that comes with this item makes the process out to be more simple than it is and does not address how to deal with mishaps. Also, like other reviewers have said, once you remove a ring, you cannot put it back on. We do not recommend this product. We have had greater success with using a litter-filled bowl inserted into the toilet.

Jesebelle says:
That's why it comes with an extra ring. You're going too fast for your cat. I had the same problem, as I have two cats as well. Once was getting it just fine and the other wasn't comfortable going poop in the thing. I had to watch him and keep putting him on the ring when he had to poop and eventually he gave in because I wouldn't let him go on the floor. If you don't have the patience, toilet training isn't for you.

If your cat is pooping on the floor, the hole is too big. You have to use the extra ring to go back to a smaller size. You can't move too fast because it'll draw the process out even longer than it normally would be.

Jesebelle has made a lot of posts to these valid negative reviews. Product owner?

I think she realizes they can't go to fast with training-her problem was that once you realize you removed a ring too fast there is no going back and the product is useless.

Except that it comes with a spare plastic insert that you CAN put on top of the toilet ring, and go back to the previous step.
