Erik Larso Book : Gun,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Lethal Passage: The Story of a Gun (Kindle Edition)
Larson's latest. While I violently disagree with many of his premiss, I enjoyed the book. I absolutely refuse to be told by anyone that I have to have X number of words in a review I am voluntarily submitting. When are you going to "get it" AMaqzon?

I love Erik Larson, reading just half of Devil and the White City was enough to sell me on all his other books. However, I'm with you - he's treading loudly here if he is trying to make a claim that gun ownership is not a crucial or legitimate component of the American character. It is one of the MOST important tenets of our country - freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of equality, freedom from oppression, and freedom to defend your freedom. In fact I compel him to make an argument that the revolutionary war would have happened if the British did not march on Lexington and Concord to try and take our guns. There would be no America.
