I-POD HEAVEN? WELL MAYBE JUST A VOYAGE OF DISCOVERY,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Apple iPod nano 8 GB Black (4th Generation) (Discontinued by Manufacturer) (Electronics)
For someone who has never used an I-Pod before and had no intention of going past the technology of a CD, it's introduction hit me like a dawning of a new time.
My son of 35 decided it was time for his father to be introduced to one of the better things in todays life. The "nano" without doubt did not let itself down, not ever.
From the moment of turn on, to discovering all it's funtions, I can only say I was happy beyond words.
After mastering the display and loading a complete libary of sound and vision onto it, the thing still begged for more. "Where does it all go, one asks"
The sound and pictures quality is first class, as for "nano" he has found a new home in my shirt pocket, forever ready to deliver.
Five Stars, no complaints from this happy customer, worth every dollar and more. As for the group of friends who had the same view as me,"nothing after a CD thank you" they now treat me as a tech outcast, "Hey, what do they know"
Well here we are 3 weeks later and the i-pod has died, not through miss use, but from a dose of frozen screen. Since the first recharge of the battery, problems started to happen, no more tilting on the side for album flick through. The screen followed with no control coming from the click wheel, then finally it froze full time no more response.
The short period I had Nano,I grew to love it, this has not put me off this Nano, if fact I have ordered another. Anyway since last time the group have all invested in their own, cross fingers they are all working.
