Interesting and important topic but I did not enjoy this book. I felt like the author was all over the place and I read the same line/point 19 different times in 4 different chapters. The author has great credentials and there were some interesting facts and thoughts along the way, but generally a tough read. Sorry Marc, I still will read your FP articles but not another book.

A. Spence says:
That was the point, he was showing that the same themes and events have repeated over time, and that each time the revolutionary forecasts had failed. So if you read the same thing over and over... that was the point.
