I'm not sure why their product descriptions here and on their web site are such a huge miss, as they executed so well on the product packaging. Right on the outside of the box it has a stylized logo graphic of 10 watt power x 2, and then down in the feature list it has in bold "2 USB ports, each delivers 10 watts". So it can charge two iPads simultaneously at the high charge rate, or newer iPhones at a higher rate. Many other offerings out there may offer two USB ports, but they split 10 watts between the two ports, so be sure to vet the 10 watt claim.

Thank you for such an outstanding review. It really made a difference in my purchasing decision. "Splitting 10W in 2" wasn't even something I thought about. Thank you for your informative review!

Griffin GC23139 PowerJolt Dual for iPad, iPhone, iPod
Hi, I just got an IPad Mini and I want to be able to charge it in my car if our power goes out in upcoming storms. Is this ALL I need to charge the mini or do I need some other cord or something to complete the connection. You can see I've been burned before, as a novice, in getting only part of what I need to make something work. PLEASE ANSWER RIGHT AWAY, IF POSSIBLE; STORMS LINING UP.
