Read it in 24 hours, and I'm a tough critic,
This review is from: Fatal Exchange (Kindle Edition)
OK, so international conspiracies aren't my favorite genre. I'm more of a true mystery fan. However, I read Blake's "An Angel With Fur," enjoyed it, checked out his website, and saw his "pets" page (I'm also a dog nut). Since I also had a dog die of cancer, I asked Blake to add a picture to the memory wall on the "pets" page. He kindly did, and I, of course, now have a soft spot for him.
Anyway, long story short, when I saw that Blake's Fatal Exchange was on the Kindle free book list for a few days, I thought I'd try it--even though it's not something I think I'd typically enjoy.
Twenty-four hours later, I'm writing this rave review. Boy, that was a good, fast-paced book with characters I really enjoyed spending time with. The story was solid. At one point, when I thought there was a big hole that made it a little less believable (why tail only the women bike messengers, when the theory was that one of the men messengers was the perp?), he later explained it in a way that was wholly rational.
Anyway, well done. I've now read two of Blake's books, and I'm ready for the next one.
