Update 11/28/2012: Intuit is now up to R7 and the problems worsen. Quicken Mobile is useless and will actually destroy your data. One step update just created duplicate bank accounts (checking, savings) and added "02" at the end of the original account name. This is a complete disaster. INTUIT YOU NEED TO PROVIDE A DATA CONVERSION PROGRAM TO ALLOW CUSTOMERS TO CONVERT THEIR FILES BACK TO 2012. Unless you need a headache and enjoy extreme challanges with your important financial information AVOID QUICKEN 2013!

I like many others here have used Quicken for 15 plus years. I would have hoped by now I wouldn't fall for a new release of Quicken until they have worked all the bugs out. Unfortunately I did it again. There are no significant changes from the previous version except for the Quicken mobile which is simply a mess. If your bored and want the headaches of your finacial data being all messed up, duplicate transactions and incorrect balances... by all means this version will provide you with that. For those that have purchased it, I recommend we request a refund. I think its the only way to convince them to not release expensive beta software to their loyal customers. If you downloaded it you can request a refund(60 day guarantee)directly from Intuit. Just search "Quicken refund". Amazon will refer you to them for all refunds on downloads.UPDATE INTUIT SAYS R3 RESOLVES SOME ISSUES WITH QUICKEN MOBILE. AFTER SYNC MY CHECKING ACCOUNT BALANCED INCREASED BY 1000.00 AND MY CREDIT CARD BALANCE ALSO INCREASED BY 1000.00. At least the total balance of my accounts is the same. ;-)

I was only searching the web to see comparisons between Deluxe and Premier. I found, to my surprise, that I can get Premier from Amazon for about $15 cheaper than the Intuit offer that arrived in the mail with a disk and "Special Offer Code", which was no better than the $89 price I found everywhere else. I have used Quicken for well over a decade, previously updating yearly but now only every 2-3 years, currently Q2011. Was very intrigued by mobile app and was JUST about to download when I went surfing for info and found these reviews. Thanks again. Saved me headaches and money. Kathryn, Quicken Support Manager, please let us know when your entire, frenzied team has this really working. Perhaps send me a disk with an offer that at least matches Amazon. Cheers!

I have used Quicken since it was Parsons! I only up upgrade when Quicken says that are no longer offering support on my current version, even though I cannot remember the last time I tried to contact them. But, I thought with the iPhone/iPad support, maybe I would buy early this time. It has been 2 months since these comments were made. I wonder if the problems have been fixed. I will wait to find out. Maybe 2014!!!

I purchased the upgrade a week or so back. I was hesitant after reading the comments about all the problems. But, it downloaded as it should, installed flawlessly, and performed as it should. No complaints or problems at all. Perfect!!
