I'm going to try their "Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cake", without the cream cheese frosting. The cake doesn't even a mixer, it's baked in a 9 x13 brownie pan, and is mixed like a quick bread (like banana bread). Quick breads are quite easy to make.
It is the the "Breakfast" chapter, I plan on making it into mini loafs and giving them as gifts. The recipe looks similar to an oatmeal muffin with chocolate chips in it. It could be for breakfast/brunch in place of a muffin or scone, or served as a snack cake, with tea or coffee.
I saw the Chocolate Loaf recipe and it looked good, and having read your review of it, I'll probably being making it soon, any tips?
