Handy to not have a cord - great for protein shakes,
This review is from: Cuisinart CSB-78 Smart Stick Plus Cordless Rechargeable Hand Blender (Kitchen)
UPDATE - I see that I wrote this review (below) originally 3+ years ago and my Cordless blender is still going strong after using it almost *every* morning. Minor complaints but aforementioned really speaks for itself. I still contend best for mixing liquids and not chopping food or working as a food processor.
I use a hand blender every day to mix protein shakes; this cordless model has only one setting and has less power than the KitchenAid corded model on the lowest setting. Still the Cuisinart seems fine for the task of mixing liquids, but I would not expect it to be any good at chopping foods. I'm a bit concerned if the battery wears down over time if it will be up to the task even when fully charged.
Also not ergonomic at all. If you have small hands BEWARE as the grip is very big. The power switch is on the very top and you must continuously hold it down (for safety, I guess.)
Of course it is handy to not have the cord.
