1.0 out of 5 stars I can't review the game, but if you have Vista, forget it!!, March 14, 2008
This review is from: Star Wars: Battlefront II (DVD-ROM)
This game will not work on Windows Vista. I called tech support, and they said that the game will not work with Vista, but I can try the "compatibility" mode. No luck there either. So, this may be a great game or not, but stay away if you have Vista. As a side note, the jewel case came cracked.

Most older games don't say one way or another about Vista compatibility. If you're buying a game that's more than a year old, it's advisable you check forums or the developer's site (provided it still exists) to see whether it runs on Vista.

Actually it does work. First to START and choose CONTROL PANEL. Then go to HARDWARE AND SOUND. Select SOUND. Go to RECORDING and right click an empty space. Choose SHOW DISABLED DEVICES. Something called STEREO MIX should show up.Right click it and choose ENABLE. And wuala the game works.

Jack, the game played great both on Windows 7 (Intel i7, 12 GB RAM, 2GB Nvidia Video Card) and Vista (Intel Core 2 Quad, 8GB RAM, 1GB Nvidia Video Card) for me. You must have some other compatibility issue.
