It pisses me off that hacks like these are allowed to steal the ideas of brilliant dead guys like William Burroughs and Robert Anton Wilson and make such tepid swill. When I saw the director's name, all was made clear. Go back to window dressing, Joel!

Wow...you feel pretty strongly about that! I have to disagree that this movie was pure "swill", and for the record, quite a few screenplays contain ideas and nods to past authors and artists in many fields. I don't consider that a bad thing, if a particular idea was intriguing enough to inspire others. There is a point were inspiration drops off, and plagarism begins, but I don't think that line was crossed with this film. Best of luck in your future angry rants.
