Good Value and Sound,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This was my first serious harmonica, and I learned all of my basic technique on it. I bought it because it was inexpensive, and seemed to be several steps above the cheaper Hohner models. Like those, the American Ace is (somewhat ironically) made in China, but nothing about this harmonica says "cheap". It has a modern, streamlined look (complete with an engraving of a Grumman X-29) and a decent weight to it. It is comfortable to play. While not absolutely perfect, the sound is very good and I found it easy to bend notes on it. The included hard plastic case is decent, but nothing special. Overall, I feel the American Ace offers plenty of value for the money, and would recommend it to anyone looking for an inexpensive harmonica.
