An easier, safer way to write Covered Calls!,
This review is from: Zero (IN) Tolerance: A Low-Risk Alternative to Current Zero Interest Rates (Paperback)
Having been a covered call writer since 2000, and read a lot of material on the subject, it was nice to see a very different point of view. Brent's reasons behind doing deep-in-the-money buy/writes, selling the call at a strike price lower than the current stock price, are inventive and very relevant with the 2004-ish market we are enjoying this year. Two points in particular: Only selling calls on stocks paying a 3%+ dividend and understanding the advantages of using short puts to enter your trade AFTER a collapse in share price makes the booklet well worth the price.
If you are a front-month covered call writer like me, or just looking for ways to overcome the abysmal interest rate environment, allow your mind to be opened up by this author's ideas. You'll see new avenues for generating future portfolio income.
