Interesting - but not very realistic,

This review is from: Restoring Hope (Native American Romance Series Book 1) (Kindle Edition)
I should first caveat this review by noting that I received the book during a "free" promotion. By default then my expectations were a bit lower, and I would have given the book 3.5 or 4 stars - it was a light, enjoyable enough read that kept me entertained for a few hours. But on the whole for a paying customer I would consider this book only 3-star worthy; the dialogue was a bit shallow, and the character issues (and resolutions) seemed unrealistic. Without giving away spoilers, I particularly found the sister's change of heart at the end pretty unbelievable; she and other characters seemed to either be fantastically moral or quite evil without the subtle middle ground of a well-written novel. Let's just say I probably won't bother paying money for the subsequent books in the series, but might read them if I found them free at the library.
