Real zoom is 6X, not 30X as stated!,
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Docooler 30X60 Zoom Mini Binoculars Telescope Folding Day Vision (Camera)
As you may (not) know, the description in binoculars, say 10X25, means that zoom is 10x, and input lens size is 25mm. For this binocular, both description and text on it say that this is 30x zoom binoculars with 60mm input lens. The practic prooves description is wrong. I've measured, and zoom is only 6x, and input lens diameter is 21mm. So this is basically 6X21 binocular. So, take note when ordering. You simply can't get 30X zoom in this price and in this size, physics can't be fooled.
For it's price, build, image quality is adequate. Just note, the cool looking red coating ads noticeable bluish tint to what you see through them.

I bought this and for the price without getting into tech. binocular details its a throw away price. Now i have a old simmons 7x35mm wide angle binoculars and because of the larger lens its going to be brighter. But this is not 6x as you say its at least 8x if not more. All the 30x60 binoculars being sold now are using a marketing strategy no doubt. It is not a zoom as stated or it would have a lever to zoom, had one before. If this one was it would state a zoom such as 7-15 and have a movement adjustment to zoom from 7 to 15 times closer, and the front lens in diameter like 35mm,40mm,50mm.

Sorry to say, a 10 X 25 description means 10 power with a 25 mm objective lens.
