5.0 out of 5 stars An Instant Spiritual Classic, January 29, 2013
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Immortal Diamond: The Search for Our True Self (Hardcover)
Without a doubt this book is an instant spiritual classic. Immortal Diamond will certainly go down in history as one of the most transformative literary works on the gift of awakened human identity.

In an age with the so-called "Neo-Reformers" continue to propagate a malformed image of a less-than-divine God, Father Richard Rohr has emerged as true reformer, one credible by his deep spirituality and authentic mysticism.

Reading his newest book I found myself slowing down, already grieving that I would soon complete it (and already eager to re-read it). Savor this little volume, let it wash over you and allow the humble ideas contained within to invite a reconstruction of your true identity.

It's early in the year, but this likely is the best book to be published in 2013.

I've read over 2,000 books on mysticism and this one doesn't rank in the top 1500. It is an instant non-classic. What texts on mysticism other than Rohr's have you read?

You've read "over 2,000 books on mysticism"? And still you go out of your way to criticize others? Placing yourself above them of course. That's the ego's favorite thing you know Ron.

I simply asked you a question. If one hasn't read deeply and widely in the mystical traditions, one has no basis for rating a mysticism text.
