Couldn't set it down,
This review is from: Knuckleheads (Paperback)
Funny, honest, searing, and well-written. Jeff Kass has a remarkable ability to depict characters in moments of uncertainty, whether they're in the midst of the rapidly shifting reality of adolescence or the blinking, dumbfounded confusion of adulthood. Most short story collections have at least one that seems unfinished or unnecessary or overworked, but Kass's stories and the collection itself are fat and diverse enough to spend some time with, but lean enough to keep your attention and demand you push on to the end. Well worth it.
